I knew Virender Sehwag would do it- MS Dhoni

Everyone's aware of cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni's love for football; he used to be the goalkeeper for his district and club teams in his school days.
The Team India skipper played in a football match organised at a tribal hamlet near Silli, in Ranchi district of Jharkhand, on Saturday, in which Dhoni's team, not surprisingly, won 3-1.
Looks like Dhoni, who was on a week-long vacation in his hometown, ahead of the Australia tour, got plenty of time to chill out.
But while the skipper was on holiday, colleague Virender Sehwag scored his ODI double ton and broke Sachin's record.
"I knew Viru would do it," Dhoni told us, and added, "On a day when Viru is in his element, he is a monster with the bat against any team."
I was sure that only he could do what he did (last) Thursday. There are not many who can score a double century in ODI matches and, undoubtedly, only Viru could have done this, because with him, it is not just about big shots, but thoroughly calculative batting."
Dhoni also said that he was glad that both the double centuries had been scored by Indians.
"I am proud that both Viru and Sachin paaji are Indians. I wish that if somebody breaks the record next time around, he is also an Indian batsman." On the forthcoming Australia tour, he said, "I am fit enough to give my best."
MSD also said that the break in Ranchi has been very relaxing for him. "I enjoyed every bit of being with my family and friends," said he.
Of course, he went for net practice with his brother-in-law, Gautam Gupta, and friend Santosh Lal, at a Ranchi stadium, and also played lawn ball in his free time.
And what does he like to do when he's not playing cricket? "Cricket always remains with me, but I love to play computer and video games," Dhoni replied. Scoring on every field, are you, captain?
