UPFA Parliamentarian R. Duminda Silva and former MP Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra have been admitted to the hospital following a shooting incident in the Kolonnawa area. Duminda Silva is being treated at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Sri Jayewardenepura Hospital, hospital sources confirmed. Police Media Spokesman SSP Maxi Proctor stated that such an incident has been reported, however added that specific information on the incident has not been revealed thus far. Meanwhile two other individuals have been admitted to the Colombo General Hospital with gunshot wounds.
